Microsoft Music Store has finally opened:

http://beta.music.msn.com/

99 cents a song, 9.90 an album.

Oldfield wise, a search on "Oldfield" comes up with results that include "Mike Oldfield" and "Oldfield Mike". No Terry or Sally, but they do have "Giorgio and Rey" (is that a Las Vegas lion taming act?) and "Sahid" in their Oldfield results!

Search results for songs/albums are frustrating in that they appear in random order (no alphabetic sorting) and much of the site is hard-to-read light-grey or light-blue on white. Needs work.

And they do NOT offer "Amarok".

Laugh and leap into the valley."

They only have "Tubular Bells II", in fact, and "Elements" on CD. <mean> Oh, well, it's Microsoft. </mean> :D

Oooh, they have "The Cure"!
