cool stuff,
That happens to me too a lot..the amount of stuff Ive scrapped in the past,as I thought it was being "too" influenced by another artist...but we are merely a culmination of our influences after all...no one is really a "true" innovator (imo) not even Mike Oldfield (again imo).....Unless you just write a load of random nosies say like early Tangerine Dream, there will always be something that feels "recognisable" in the music...(then if you did the random noise thing, then you run a risk of just sounding like early Tangerine Dream..heh.....and potentially limit your listening audience..)..... Your music doesnt sound like any other piece of music I know and I like those artists you mention...It simply has "elements" or a "vibe" of those artists that inspire you...I hear a slight Vangelis influence maybe...nothing specific...just that "vibe".....so..... Keep writing and keep rocking ......
I shall cease my ramblings now.
