Was Mike in Berlin last night?

Does anybody have any news about this meeting?

I can see it in Alex's website, but I don't speak German... :(

http://www.oldfield.de/index.php

Thank you

I don't speak German either but translating the text using Babelfish suggests he was there in good spirits and answering some (not very good?) questions.

Anyone with some German language skills or who was there themselves care to elaborate?

In Alex's website, there are also links at the bottom of the article that lead toward french and english translations.

Anyway, my level in german doesn't allow me to understand more than 70% of the text, but the only very interesting question I found is the one about his next project an the answer is (approx.) "why not another classic album, if people are pleased with this one - now I know how it has to be done"

It's also told that Mike's presence (5 minutes) was a surprise and that he left with a little boy -probably his son- and maybe his wife.

Unfortunately I couldn´t make it to Berlin last night. Yes, he was there and willing to answer some questions.

He also put his CD on which makes this event the world premiere of Music Of The Spheres.

But this is again an automatic translation, which sometimes can be harder to understand than the original text  :O

I  telephoned with the man who interviewed mike on the stage. Mike was very happy and he loughes when there was a question beginning with "why". The audience knows that you shoud never ask him a question beginning with "why". oldfield was very funny and makes a "event" because of the many questions with "why" on the beginning. all were lucky and the interview was good.

The Interwiewer told me that ALL of the Audience knows his Mistake and Oldfield were very professional and funny about it. He was in a funny condition and made a very good job ;-)

after the interview mike was going away. it was a nice interview and all was ok.

Regards
Alex

P.S.: I didnt get more informations but a pic. Please Credit xxamaxx and Umusic if u use it. Thank you

Thanks for the info Alex, I understand now the bit about the "why" question which I had misinterpreted from babelfish as poor questioning!

Good picture, but why does he have "25" written next to him. Is it a lot number and he's for sale :p

Yep,he looks great and seems he has lost some weight too(comparing to the NNOTP/NOTP concerts).

Still very charming as always  ;)

2+5 = 7.
7 = number of perfection/completeness
Sphere = Perfect and complete shape.
Number of spheres in each ring on MOTS cover = 28
minus 2 shared spheres = 26
25 (Pefect shape) + 1 (Mike Oldfield) = Music of the Spheres
QED. :/
