a_r_schulz Group: Members Posts: 425 Joined: Sep. 2001 Posted: Feb. 04 2007, 06:32 From a quick browsing at the airport yesterday, I found that Mike at least received an honorable mention in the 'Guitar Player' magazine latest edition's 'top 101 Forgotten Greats and Unsung heroes', along with e.g. Jan Akkerman (and others, whom I failed to remember...). AFAIR, the author especially praised Mike's unique signal chain including compressors, equalizers and a battery-powered amp to achieve his trademark sound - any corrections from regular 'Guitar Player' readers are appreciated...
