I remember how, at about this time last year, I was so eagerly waiting to hear the new album. And now it is a part of my life forever and I am so glad for that. A lot can happen in a year and leave you feeling changed, moved, on a different level, looking at everything in a different way, even a little more confused with life maybe  - and so it's always good to know that there is this solid rock you can always turn to. I'd been listening to a lot of classical music beforehand. Maybe that changed by perspective on it, I appreciate it so much more now than when it came out. Like most of Oldfield's work it's a grower. -------------- Listen to Mohribold; an epic musical tapestry that weaves between a multitude of genres. BTW: There was a war here in 1860 to 1865. I think some bearded dude Lincoln? was the president. I was just a kid at the time. The slave-keepin' rednecks of the south were called yankees and the "Good Guys" of the north were called uh.....Union soldiers, I guess. All these years later I've been an outcast socially in Texas because I do not speak with a southern accent. In the past I've almost gotten my ass beaten up for playing MO in places like honky tonks.
