Hello,
I'm 14 years old and I'd never heard about mike oldfield until a couple of weeks ago when I read Sir Richard Branson's Autobiography - Losing my Virginity. In it there is quite a large section on Mike Oldfield and Tubular Bells and how it rocketed Virgin Music up to rival other big music labels. It tells you about such things as the first time Sir Richard Branson heard the piece and when it was played on radio as well as Richard Branson giving Mike Oldfield his Bentley to get him to play at the concert. If this info is old or something I'm really sorry i just thought it was pretty interesting when I read it.
