for those who have FX Box, I found a very close copy of Mike Oldfield's guitar effect he uses....if you dont have FX Box you can get it here
FX Box Home
Here are all the configurations:
Distortion: Set the Drive to "MAX", Clipping Type to Normal, and turn on Overdrive, After Wah, and Saturation and set the Saturation to MAX. Set the LP Filter to 2517 Hz and the LP Filter Q to 2.17. Dont enable the Boost option.
I/O EQ: Turn on both Input and Output and set them both for HI-FI. turn the BASS on Input to 2db the MID to 2db and the Treble to 10db. On Output, change the BASS to 4db, the MID to 0db, and the Treble to 12db. Turn on the LowPass 8KHz option and the 50Hz hum filter and set the Noise Gate filter to full threshold and 1.7 Ratio.
EnvWah: Turn on LogVolume and set the first slide to 1341 Hz and the Second to 2759Hz and the third to 100hz. Enable the Peak Mode option and select mode 2. and for the next set of slides, set the first to 75%, the second to 52%, and the third to 28%. Push the Filter Gain up to its max and set the Resonance to 50%.
if anyone has any trouble or if you find a closer resemblence to Mike's effect, reply to this or email me at shine64@rocketmail.com or catch me on ICQ: 41914835.

I played solos from the last part of Blue Saloon and the last part of Sunjammer.
