Ive been sorting through some old audio cassettes and came across an interview that Mike did on BBC radio 2 shortly after the Horse Guards Parade concert....he talks about buying a Porsche of off Nicky Horn at Capital Radio, who said he liked the sound of the engine note as the turbo whistled... and then his passion for the margue for a ten year period until he settled into "My comfortable old Mercedes"

Was a nice find for e and something Ive probably never played since listening to the original broadcast....he mentions an upcoming album he was working on featuring just Guitars!

We all now know what that was. Happy days.

And a few years later on,Nicky Horne went to become Mike's manager for a while...

He almost drew everything that was nice and trendy from a Mini over a Bentley, Range Rover, Maserati Khamsin, Lamborghini, Mercedes SL, Ferrari, Audi quattro, Porsche, Mercedes and so on.

Well if I had his money, so would I.....I also remember seeing him driving an Alfa many moons back in London...I didnt know about Nicky Horn being his manager....MO Mentioned that one of the reasons he fell out with Richard Branson was because he owned Virgin and he was Mikes manager, the two roles were in conflict with each other....he then goes on to say that they didnt speak for many years, and Mike then called Richard and arranged to meet up. The sat and drank champagne, and Mike says that as odd as Richard is, he actually really likes him.
