Hi all,

I have had many requests from people about buying some of my transcriptions of Mike's music but due to the arrangements I have with those who request it, I am unable to do so.

However, I have been arranging some of Mike's music for solo piano and am keen to produce a hard copy book for purchase. I am interested at this stage in getting any suggestions for pieces that people would like to see included.

Please note that this will not be made as a digital file to prevent it spreading like wildfire across the internet.

I am looking to make a book of about 10 pieces so please do let me know what you would like to see (preferably not pieces that have been arranged for piano already such as Tubular Bells)

Look forward to you responses

Ryan

Thanks J1Star,

Argiers is definately on the list and Afghan will be considered too.

This is the current list I have, although I have more than I need, I would like to keep adding to it and then condense it down to a final track list.

Spanish Tune

Guilty

Piano Improvisation

First Excursion

Argiers

Woodhenge

Sheba

Conflict

QE2

Molly

Mont St Michel

Oribadoo

Taurus III

First Excursion sounds like it will be damn hard to replicate on piano in any meaningful way... otherwise, I agree, great selection.

Top of the Morning .

I would leave Top of the Morning because it already existsin print in the TBIII songbook. Primarily I am looking for pieces that have never been put into score before.

Plus I'm trying to get away from TB material if possible.

First Excursion could actually be achieved, having listened to it I can already see how it would look on the page.

I think all the tracks listed are good ones, but if pressed to narrow it down, I personally feel these 6 are the strongest contenders.

And I know I'm being horribly pedantic, but Sheba is in fact in print, albeit in a fairly rare collection. I'm sure you're version would be much better though.

Thanks Gus, I didn't know about Sheba. Is it a very good transcription?

My video will be uploaded later today with all the tracks I am considering....it's a long list but I'm sure we will get it down to a perfect set.
