Dirk's Pics:
C. I think that may be a nautical flag, but I don't know what it means. It might be a subtle reference to "QE2", though?
F. "Jewel In the Crown"
I. "Gimme Back"? ("...hook, line, and sinker..." - farfetched, I know)
7. Is that a Ford "Taurus"?

C is a nautical flag meaning "Papa" (for the letter "P") - presumably the Mike Oldfield piece is "Our Father".

Ok guys some correct answers here and some not.I think I may have to give some clues for some of these later if nobody gets them..

C..is of course a nautical flag but it has nothing to do with QE 2 or Our Father. The name of the flag is the same as the title of Mike`s piece.Think of some of Mike`s more "seafaring ditties" and you might get it..

@Sweetpea: F is a publicity shot from the tv series The Jewel In The Crown so you`re bang on with that one...The cars are difficult I know, but only one of those automibles is a Ford(number one)And none of them are a Taurus, heh heh..Although a certain Taurus does appear elsewhere here???

@Nightspore: B is Molly you`re correct,it being a picture of Molly Sugden the actress who played Mrs Slocombe in Are You Being Served. And I`m afraid I could`nt resist it but car number 8 by definition is a Blue Saloon so you`re also right with that one.

Yes, I've just checked another flag site, and it's definitely Blue Peter. So that's another solved. I wonder why the first flag site didn't mention the flag's name. It's a good idea, incidentally, Dirk - don't give away any more answers just yet, in case others haven't noticed the thread yet!

No!  :p Is there a car called a Quicksilver? I tell you what I would`nt be suprised.I was amazed when I was compiling this though just how many cars share their names with Mike Oldfield tracks.Quicksilver is maybe one I missed, and Sentinal was just one I left out..  ;)

5) isn't a landrover, it's a MAESTRO

7) VOYAGER

H) Poisoned Arrows? Darts are often called arrows, no idea why 3 bullseyes are poisoned.

The answer is 42 - but what is the question?
