Thanks, Tres lunas xx

A poem dedicated to Mike Oldfield.

I walked into a room with tubular bells but low and behold a 2nd (TB II) and a 3rd (TB III)!
It was no surprise to find a fridge but on the front said hergest ridge.
Inside the fridge was a set of bells but they were shaped like trombones and violins, they weren't shaped like bells (orchestral TB).
I looked out of the window and said mamma its dawn (ommadawn, I tried!;)
I walked out of the room and said incantations I felt very exposed.
There was a ring on the floor which was made of platinum but funny it was QE2 was made out of blocks!
I tried to reach the boat but I was 5 miles out, oh my god what a crisis!
But what a discovery I had made, I had found islands with killing fields.
Suddenly I felt the earth moving and the heavens open, oh my god I am a rock (amarok)!
Then I herd some songs, yes, songs of a distant earth (The songs of distant earth).
I felt like a voyager with my own set of  guitars.
But I felt like a set of a thousand bells(The millennium bell)ringing on three moons(tres lunas)

Well well...it seems we have some people here who have a real magic touch with words. I have to say that I'm also guilty of having written something like this - you'll find it somewhere in the pool of words that is this message board (that may or may not be good news to you...perhaps in the long run it's best kept out of sight and out of mind...it might be something to muse over, though). But, like a firefly, your words shine in the misty blue night (though if we'll be able to see the light when the night's on fire may be a different matter - the flames' amber light can be quite bright).

Um...did I do it again? I just hope it doesn't start a conflict (I'd hate to see poison arrows being fired...one mistake and they could end up hitting someone entirely innocent).

Not bad Danny, quite clever.I'm not much good at poetry so i won't even attempt it. As for your ommadawn idea, you should have taken a leaf out of Johnny Bravo's book of frases....whats it called..........OHMAMMA!...I can't remmember at the moment. You weren't to far off though!!!
:)  :D    ;)
