Now, I'm not talking about the usual discogs that you find on the net or in back issues of Goldmine or Record Collector.  I'm talking about a proper log of recordings, dates and places (and personnel) for MO's studio work, regardless of where the recordings ended up-or even if they were never released.

I've had more that a few good hunts for one over the years, but I can't find one.

No, I don't want to piece one together myself.  I'm too old and lethargic for that.  Just askin' if one's already out there.

Did someone call? ;)

There's nothing like that already out there, as far as I know. I'm not even certain how much data of that sort is available. It might be possible to work some of it out through some careful reading of articles and the like.

We've been talking for some time now about working on a new way of storing and presenting some of the data on tubular.net. It would be possible to add data on when particular things were recorded if the data's available (and just leave it out where it's not). It'll be a while before that's ready, even if we start work on it right now, but this is something we can certainly bear in mind for when we do it.

The Amarok mailing list's site has quite an interesting discography (which you might have seen already), which has some information on unreleased tracks and the approximate times they were recorded.

Although I think that there is not that much left, I´d like to do my best to add whatever I can to gather all the requested information.

Archive´s open -fligh right in!

:D
