Yes, this is great stuff, it's good to be hearing more from him, it will be interesting hearing what he plays, because he says he does'nt really listen to the radio.

I wonder how come he's all over the radio now? Did Virgin force him? Why does he promote Platinum so much more than he promoted L+S? I just don't get the logic behind this...

If he ain't on Virgin anymore, they can't force him to do anything.

Maybe he needs the cash? :p

Well, I'm trying to rationalise something irrational here :) Didn't he need cash when Light + Shade was released? Hmmm, perhaps he hoped Mercury would actually promote it...

If he is imminently releasing his autobiography, he should go to the Hay-on-Wye literary festival at the end of May; or if not this year, next year. What a cool event, even for musician-authors. :) Sting was there last year promoting his book (hmmm....another resident of the Wiltshire area, IIR). Hay is not very far from the Beacon, if you don't get lost. But if you do, the countryside is gorgeous. :D

I think that Jon Collins and others are helping Mike to find the best way to start the pre-promo for the autobio, knowing the best places to do it so.

Is there a chance to record on mp3 Mike's participation on that show from BBC Radio Newcastle?

That would be so great. Specially for us (I mean southamericans)
I've done little research in the BBC Radio webage in order to find out if the interview would be available for southamerica but I couldn't find anything.
There is in Buenos Aires a local radio station which is a satellite of the bbc but I couldn't find any info, timetables or schedules for the shows.

They usually just record the people for the show whenever they happen to be around the BBC, so, it maybe months before we hear it, it will probably be saved for when Mike does promo for his book.

I wish he'd do a bit of PR on the MusicVR Forum. The Turkish hacker's page is still in place (it's been several days now), and presumably the hacker could do more if he wanted. But there's been no response either to that, or to our emails about it.
