Quote | I remember seeing this book in a charity shop in about 1991 and buying it feeling very confused. Not only is it published by virgin but the girl on the front cover of the softback book I purchased bared a weird resemblance to Maggie Reilly. I did try to read it, It was real pulp fiction crap but I was convinced at the time that it was indeed writen by Mike |
My brother (also a MO fan - the bloke who introduced me to Mike's music, in fact...) made the exact same mistake, and in fact, when I spotted it on his bookshelf a few years ago, so did I - given Mike's penchant for dabbling in all sorts of different media (Videos, MusicVR etc) it didn't surprise me at all to think he'd written a book! I agree, though - it was a load of garbage - ghostwritten by Jeffrey Archer, no doubt...

P.S. - You're not my brother, by any chance, TOBY, hiding behind an assumed name, are you?
