Does anyone remember mike on the Saturday Night BBC programme Jim'll Fix It, this was my introduction to the man and his music although it was only his recording of Blue Peter theme which got me to actually listen to his albums. Anyway Jim'll Fix It for anyone who is not from the UK was Jimmy Saville (DJ) making dreams come true, they wrote to him and then he fixed their wishes for them. A girl wrote in asking to meet and play with Mike. I cant really remember much of the content other than Mike and a band played some music and this girl got to pull a rope at the end and ring a bell. It was a church type bell in a little floor stand. Anyone out there know if there is any footage of this. Likewise is there any mpeg of the Blue Peter show showing mike recording the theme tune.

Thanks, i am a bit "green" when it comes to some of the acronyms used on forums etc. This however is what i love about the internet. The ability to find like minded people who want to share their love for a particular artist or interest. I dont know how old you are, but i can remember the days befor the internet when you had to reply to ad's in the music papers and send off a postal order to join some fan club or other. All you ever got back was a laminated card, picture of the artist and not a lot else - before the whole thing wound up and you never heard anything ever again.
Thanks again
