Hi
I think it would be great if MO joined this program on bbc. Tim Rice was on it today and eddie izzard  and lot's of other people who perhaps doesen't like speed or cars.
It's just fun

My feelings exactly! Arrogance & laziness are two things I simply cannot tolerate...and JC (or slimy toerag as I shall now always call him :D ) is these two things personified IMO. Mr Hammond is quite funny though.

I should imagine Mike likes cars but from recent interviews he's talked about Motorbikes ( Blackbird etc) and Top Gear do not seem to cover them.

The people they have on there do seem to be very extrovert in nature. Perhaps that's not for Mike.

You've got remember though that there is a fair degree of reactionary and/or ironic behaviour about Jeremy Clarkson, he enjoys getting left wing backs up. I mean I used to agree with those that hated his guts but I've seen him a lot on chat shows recently and I've started to think he's actually alright. He has stated he is actually for a lot of enviromental issues and generally against car pollution. As i said he just enjoys winding people up the wrong way, its just male bravado

Anyway back on topic. Yeah Mike should go on it, why not? The thing is Mike doesn't appear on TV at all anymore, either he's not interested or people arn't interested in him.

I have to say, and this is just MY opinion, but I rather love watching Top Gear (Love cars), and although I used to have my doubts about JC, the more I watched TG there more I've enjoyed watching him, Hamster(lol) and May. I'd love to see Mike on it........... I mean Incredibly cool cars, good humour and my favourite musician racing around the Top Gear track!!!!! Top Stuff!!!

I agree 100% with that Killinator, Why not go on Top Gear?? I used to have the same opinion, but having watched so much Top Gear and having read Jc's articles in the Top Gear mag(his environmental views and political views are quiet good also) I've come to really like him.
JC is cool and so is Mike!!

Actually it may interest you to know that Clarkson is a huge prog rock fan so I dare say he may really like Mike's music. If there were a Top Gear show all about motorbikes its more likely Mike would do it I would say.

I didnt know that about Jeremy Clarkson, Prog rock etc, should have guessed really. Though I would be hugely surprised if he found Mike's music interesting, perhaps we should ask him?!!

Maybe I'm not so anti now, but I will still take some convincing. I just wish speed wasn't so highly rated on the show. I'm not that keen on driving really fast anywhere, doesn't seem much point to me. I think we all use cars too much. I like my bicycle!!! :D

Mike!!! It may be good publicity for you to tell the primetime tv audience about your next long instrumental peice!
