I know Mike is a great guitarist, but I still find this stunning. He really shines in this brief performance.

I was also surprised by Mike's tolerance toward the more dim-witted questions from these hosts. Not that I think of him as particularly quick-tempered, but I might have been irritated by things like "Is that an acoustic guitar?".

I don't think it's stated when this was taped. Does anybody know?

Thanks, Airborne. So, it was between Islands and Earth Moving. I was twenty, then. Mike kinda reminds me of Paddy McAloon (Prefab Sprout), there.

Hi Guys,

I've been an avid listener of Mike's work since I was a small boy and own a great deal of his music.  I cannot for the life of me work out what the video album is that they are refering to in this clip!

Please excuse my ignorance as I bet its something very obvious that I'm missing!

Many thanks

Thank you so much.

Its incredible that I really did not realise this existed.  I love the triumphant ending to The Wind Chimes. Its so instantly recognisable as Oldfield.

Actually, it might fit in quite well with "Exercises with Mad Lizzie"
