I have heard him say that the later stages of Ommadawn Part 1 is the piece he is most satisfied with. (Elements)

He said a similar thing at the London "Then and now" concert.

You can tell he enjoys the live versions of Tubular Bells part 2 where he ad-libs before Sailor's Hornpipe.

Actually it was the Essential video, not Elements.
