Can anybody describe Mike´s finger technique.
I know that he uses a lot hammerings and pull-offs but I dont know how he can play melody which is played only on one string.
Does he play only by one finger or he uses more fingers for one string?

It's actually a bit of both...

Sometimes he'll have one finger to each string (although he obviously moces them around slightly, there being only 4 playing fingers and 6 strings). Much of his playing is done like this.
Something like Taurus 3, however, would be done with two fingers on each string, then 'walking' between them (playing 1st note with 1st finger, 2nd note with 2nd finger, 3rd note with 1st finger and so on...).

That might help as a quick guide - if you'd like to give some examples of pieces you;re thinking about, then I'm sure one of us can work out how he fingers them.

Ha, you would pick an easy one to explain wink
(in case it doesn't come across, that was said very sarcastically wink).

He's doing a thing of moving between strings. He picks one note on the top e string, then pulls off to one a couple frets down (using the 3rd finger probably). Then he picks one on the b string, using the 2nd finger. But then he goes back to the e string, picking a note there with the 3rd finger. Then he goes back down to the b string and does the same type of pull-off that he did on the e...the pattern repeats and he keeps on going down in that way.

It's something like that at least. sometimes he'll be picking a note with the thumb or something - I think you only actually need to use a finger and a thumb to play that bit of you want to. I hope you might get the idea...

I play it like this:

15p13----------------------------------------------------
--------15p13--15p13-----------------------------------
------------------------14p12----------14p12-----------
--------------------------------15p12----------15p12---
-----------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------
-----------------10------------
-------------10-----10h12----
10h12--10--------------------
--------------------------------
--------------------------------

Right hand: Use forefinger, middle and ring finger alternately.
Hold and shake the last note.
Mike might do it completely different, as always...
