Ok guys, im freaking out.....
I was in my guitar emporium yesrterday before a gig i was doing. The guys there had a very old, batttered pink fender stratocaster, they hadnt put any price tags on it or any lables of any kind on it and the place was too busy so i didnt get around to asking.....
I played it for a good hour before i was yanked by the throat by my manager to rush back to the venue to play my set...
It played an abseloute dream and it had all the little nicks and scratches i can see on the TBii dvd, i then found this pic on the web
The pink strat
and low and behold it has exactly the same tuners that i noticed to be slightly more square and faded to hell...
can it be possible that My guitar showroom has gotten hold of the pink stratocaster? or did a private seler buy it?
surely however its still possible if the private collector lived near he could have sold it in an auction...
I loved playing it, it played nicer than any of the new strats they had in, and i made sure to have a look for the serial number, wich was very plainly printed on the square neck plate at the back. regreattably i didnt take note of it, but i will on monday or tuesday when i go down again.
is this possible or am i over reacting?
does anyone know the serial number of mikes one so i can check?
