I saw Mike perform T Bells Pt One at Horse Guard's Parade, and he played with an acoustic guitar sound during the acoustic guitar parts on his sunburst PRS. I was wondering if he got that sound by using a virtual acoustic guitar sound from his V Guitar system, or does his PRS have piezo saddles in the bridge? Does anyone know for sure? Does Mike have a VG 8,VG8-EX, or a VG88 and does he have the V Bass system?

Yes, Mike has a VG-8 EX, which is what he uses for that Man In The Rain sound. I would imagine that he did the parts in TB part 1 in the same way, but I forget exactly how they were. I find that the VG8 tends to have quite a distinctive sound, so it's often not too hard to tell.

Mike is a bit of a sucker for Roland equipment, so perhaps he's got a V Bass system now as well.
