Can anyone remember Mikey on an awards show hosted by angus deaton on UK TV.The show was on to coincide with another awrds ceremony that was goihg on at the same time.Anyway I can't remember to much of the show only it was giving out gongs for all the wrong reasons it was all in good fun and very much tongue in cheek. As far as I can remember Mikey won the most unnecesary follow up album and got play out at the end of the show.

Harry Enfield did something called "Tubular Bores", which was quite amusing the first time round.  i downloaded it accitdently a while ago, but lost it a little while afterwards.  that might be what youre thinkin of

Yes, that was it, it was the ending of the BOFTY show - a spoof on 'The Bell' with Mike playing the guitar and Harry Enfield MCing.
