So, I knew Santa was bringing me a nice new Dolby Digital capable receiver and I was thus looking in the store for DVD's to play on it. Shock of all shocks (for a general music store in the USA) I found the Millenium Bell DVD, nicely labelled with "Dolby Digital". I love Oldfield music but not some of the live stuff, so I debated putting it back and buying something else. My brain suggested that I would be stupid in putting it back, "even if the life music was "average', how many time have you actually seen video of Mike Oldfield playing"?
So I bought it, and on Boxing Day loaded it into the DVD player as the first music to be played on the new receiver.
WOW! is all I can say, great music and well recorded. I keep playing it over and over again, especially cut 12. No I'm looking for more Oldfield DVD's, I have a few Oldfield CD's but I want to see more.
