I'm going to Mallorca this easter! We have managed to get a room in a cheap hostel in Deìa. I know that Kevin Ayers, Richard Branson and David Aellen have lived there from time to time, but I read somewhere that Mike has lived there too, and that he has performed at local bars.
Does anyone know anything about Mike's relation with Deìa and/or Mallorca? Or does anyone know if there are any old musicians who still have houses in Deìa?

I'm not going there just because of the musical connection though. We're planning on going on longs walks around the island and I hope to do some running too. Also, Deìa is said to be a very beautiful place.

Its the right season to visit mallorca, not as hot as summer, mike had a home there, the mots promo pics were taken there! visit the other islands on short cheap flights, send us a post...ola! viva espania, deb

@deb - the mots pics weren't taken there,but at mike's former home in england(near bristol)

One of the spaniards I've met in person during one of NNOTP concerts I've attended lives in Palma de Mallorca,maybe you should contact him here.

Hey tati, you are right about the promo pics being taken in england, but there are pics of mike at home in mallorca from that year at www.mikeoldfield.es.com, deb
