OK, you experts, help me out here.

I'm trying to get a CD version of the original (?), *long* version of "Moonlight Shadow". I had this on a vinyl compilation (NOW 1, actually!), and I recently bought the UK "Best of Mike Oldfield" CD, mainly for that track. I was disappointed to find that it *fades* during the final guitar solo.

I've had a look at "Crises", but the timing seems to be the same (3:37 or thereabouts).

I know there was an extended 12" remix version and I managed to get a copy from the late lamented Napster, but that's *still* not the one I want (it has more vocal and *less* guitar!)

Help! Where is the 'original'?

If you want the extended version on CD, I know of one CD that has it (though it may be on several); that is the CD 'moonlight shadow' (I believe they call this sort of thing a CD maxi...I'd call it a CD single or EP...you know what I mean anyway) released in 1993 at around the same time as Elements.

The tracks are:

Moonlght Shadow (3:35)
Moonlight Shadow extended version (5:18)
In the Pool
Bones

You would have to look for this CD in second hand record shops, or on eBay or somewhere like that.
Otherwise, one of the sites Carsten has mentioned will have it as an mp3 file.
