Moonlight Shadow seems to be the most frequent of the MO compositions featured on the radio. I've also heard the opening theme of Tubular Bells. I'm sure when his singles were released they got a mention. I think Sentinel was played a lot round the time of its release. After all, it did get to Number 10 in the Charts, and the Album to Number 1.

Wow...I have to listen to Radio 2 now. It's my favourite radio station anyway. If only they aired "Just a Minute" on Radio 2 as well...

Well, Mike's not on the playlist (check it here), so perhaps the DJ's are sneaking in a few personal favourites? <edit> - the track is listed here, at the bottom of the page, but I don't recognise the album it's from? Some compilation?

One of my earliest radio memories is hearing the Pirate station Radio Caroline playing the whole of Tubular Bells. It was just a way for them to be lazy, stick on a whole album side then bugger off to get some booze. I'm not sure if it's a genuine memory or folk lore, but I also recall an album getting stuck and no-one at the station noticed for ages

The answer is 42 - but what is the question?

I think Ken Bruce is a bit of a MO fan, anyway - When I worked at a newsagents not so long ago, I used to listen to his programme most mornings, and he was forever playing bits of Tubular Bells - and getting very enthusiastic about it, too :D
