has anyone else tried to enter musicvr.com in the last hours? since yesterday, instead of the usual main page to log in, there's a black one saying that the website has been hacked.
i know there are some others who don't get that black page, but can't either find the normal musicvr.com homepage. right now, the only way to enter the forum seems to be this link
the forum's working just normal, but maybe someone could fix the homepage.

If musicvr.com was really hacked, there's a chance(do hope that it's a remote one) to happen the very same thing with MO.com(dunno if both sites are on the same server,I do think they are).

Maybe with the moving,Fanny doesn't have much time to check things out on the webbies.So...I do hope to see the problem fixed soon.Too bad that it happened :/

that black page is still there... yes tati, u may be right in your worries for the possibility of mikeoldfield.com being hacked too. what worries me even more is the chance that the forum at musicvr.com, which contains a lot of precious info for us -mvr players- could be damaged..
i do hope they react soon   :/

Maria, you're right!! MO.com works fine, but something strange happened to the counter, it marks now 1,000,6XX, and it was months ago that Mike started a contest for the 1,000,000 visitor
(by the way we never were told about the winner!!;).

The forum at MVR also works fine, but the main webpage is definitely hacked...!!!!

Regards

(Maria, are you coming to TB Project in Amurrio???...it would be nice to meet you there!!  :)

I sent an email too, the day after María discovered the hack. Then last night, when there was no apparent response, I sent an email to Colin. He has nothing to do with the website, but I thought maybe he had a way of contacting Fanny that we haven't.

I agree with María: the thought of some crazy hacker trampling all over the MVR forum and undoing all that we've done is pretty horrible. I hope something happens quickly.

no response from them yet.. good idea to send an email to colin, alan. he used to log in quite often and seems to be usually aware of what happens there. sure he's got some *shortcut* to contact them.
the mainpage is still hacked, but i've just been in the forum and it's ok.

[hola nacho, i'd love to go to amurrio.. i know u all will be there.. if i had only to drive my car, it would be easier, but for me it's a question of two planes.. right now i don't have much spare time, i'm working a lot, even at the weekends. me acordaré de vosotros ese día, tomaos una cervecita a mi salud, vale?:)]

this time i'll post this message simply to try to keep this thread on the surface.. with the hope that someone who can do something will read it, better sooner than later actually..

the problem is still there and it's not only that all what we've written may be in danger, but also that, like alan pointed there, it isn't safe to go on organizing games leaving our ips on the board to let people know, so we've decided not to organize public games until they fix it.

[@Maria]  Sin muchos de vosotros no será lo mismo, pero cuenta con esa cerveza!!!!

Certainly, someone should do something about the hacked web!! Not only the IPs, but also the credir card numbers from the shop where we bought the Maestro posters and so,....!!!!   :O  :O

Colin says it will be fixed, but that the ISP has to do the fixing.

I'm no expert, but I would think credit card numbers will be completely secure.

The mvr forum seems to have been down for a couple of days now. Anyone heard anything? The rest of mikeoldfield.com appears as normal.

I sent an email yesterday to point out that it was down (I don't think the site is being checked very often...). But I see it's still down this morning.

If anyone has any ideas, we mvr regulars would be happy to hear them.

It's quite dispiriting really.

I've just tried to enter straight into the mvr.com forums page and it has simply disappeared... HTTP 404 Page not found.
And if I try to enter http://musicvr.com it reads:
=--=-= HACKED BY ARABX=-=--=

Such a shame... I guess that now they must be too busy with Fanny's pregnancy to do something , but maybe Colin..

Colin, are u still out there?

I've emailed Colin to see if there's anything he can do. And I've also sent an email to the webmaster at mikeoldfield.com, though I don't know if anyone still checks that account, these days.

Sadly, Colin (as I expected he would) says there's nothing he can do about it because he doesn't manage the websites.
