Hi.

I did an interview with Anita Hegerland on behalf of the Amarok mailing list. You can read it in my blog at http://www.elfworld.org/

Comments would be appreciated.

Great job Elf!  Really good questions.  Speaking just for me, there's a couple of those questions that I wouldn't have asked because I'd have thought them too personal, but Anita didn't seem to mind, so that makes it OK.

Her answers were really illuminating, I thought.  Especially regarding Heaven's Open.

Thanks!

Jules

Would you mind posting a direct link within the blog? I was unable to find it, though I did find gravel links and Nestle.

Excellent stuff. She seems to be really nice and down to earth. In the video for "The time has come" on the elements DVD I think she is the most gorgeous thing ever.
:p

Hi Elf!

Congratulations - and thank you, thank you very much! That interview is exactly one of the things I've been waiting for a long time!
I've been a fan of Anita since my childhood (she may be about 4 years older than I am - and in the early 70s I loved to listen to "Schön ist es auf der Welt zu sein", "Glück in der Tasche" etc.). Later on, in the 80s, I was totally amazed when she had a comeback - at the side of that man who had also become one of my heroes: Mike Oldfield!
And now your interview gives me the hope to hear from her again: A new album, to be released also in Germany!!!!!

Yes, the facts about HEAVEN'S OPEN are really interesting, but also the information that there exists a version of "Moonlight Shadow" with Anita! Please, can someone tell me how I can get a copy????!!!!

:)
