hey everyone, I haven't posted here in years :)
But always come to read the posts..

Anyway, for about the last 10 years I have been slowly piecing together my own album, very Mike Oldfield influenced, it is Oldfield like in that it is one long piece of music

It is basically a cross between Amarok/TBII/Crises/Ommadawn

Most of the music has been recorded, though it is about 2.5 hours long right now ! So now the editing begins and piecing it all together which will most likely take another few years , I will post up some mp3's of it soon so you can comment :)

Has anyone else here attempted something like this ? Would love to hear other people's work in this vein...

All the best with the album! For 3 months I have been recording my classical/flamenco album. I was inspired by Carlos Santana. Its slowly coming together. I only have a few hours a day to play as work and study on my Masters in Criminology really take up most of the day. I will post a link when its finished. Keep up the good work and would love to hear more of your work! Deb
