I have finally got around to finishing and uploading my new album "Aether". Title track is 25 minutes long and there are five shorter tracks including two songs with Joanna Lero.  Please visit my site at http://willgell.yolasite.com/albums.php and download for free. Would love to get any comments.

Cheers

Downloading it now!

I love all your other albums - each has their own place in my day.

Phonometry and Circa are for chilling out and Lunatech is for when I fancy a blast of something in the same vein as Mr Oldfield himself (I love the recurring themes and the way it's been put together).

Looking forward to hearing this.

Cheers,
Terry.

Hi,

Listened to it all through once (and listened to the title track twice).

It's great - I love it.

The title track is like someone took all my favourite instrumental albums and sort of mashed them together making something different but evocatively reminiscent (and I don't just mean MO albums either).

I think my least favourite tracks are the two songs but I think that's just because the vocal takes the focus away from the brilliant instrumental work. Joanna has a great voice, perhaps the two of you should do a complete album of just songs so that the contrast between the instrumental tracks and the songs isn't so great? Out of the two songs I prefer Ghost to Enchanted and I think it's because Ghost has some additional 'background' vocals which I think are missing in Enchanted - all  IMHO of course!

Great job!

Cheers,
Terry.

Thanks Terry any feedback is much appreciated. I know what you mean about the songs. They were originally meant to be part of a collaboration album with Joanna but things got in the way logistically with that making new songs impossible so I decided to include them rather than have them languishing on my hard drive.

Cheers

Will
