FINALE:
Terry & Sally Oldfield announce Mike's arrival as he steps up to the stage. Mike cries, nervously delivers a thankyou speech and tells the world he will marry his dear beloved Fanny. The Chieftains then come on stage to join Mike (guitar), Terry (flute) and Sally (vocals) in performing an extended version of In Dulci Jubilo, featuring the original Spanish vocals.

Then comes the fireworks. HOORAY!

Two months later a non-region encoded DVD concert film,  containing behind the scenes footage shot by Phil Joanou ("Rattle & Hum"), shows up in stores everywhere. The Double CD of the event reigns supreme on US, UK and Australian charts only to be toppled in March 2004 by Mike Oldfield's much anticipated new album "Incantations: The Second Chapter" - featuring two twenty minute instrumentals and eight pop songs performed in Latin and Aramaic by Sally Oldfield and Natacha Atlas respectively. "Incantations: The Second Chapter" becomes Oldfield's biggest selling album to date, outselling even the "Tubular Bells" trilogy.

And Wanderer dies in 2083, a very happy man.

This sounds like a cool idea to me,except,as much as i like Kate Bush,i don't think Moonlight Shadow is the right song for her,it could only be Maggie Reilly singing it,Matallica doing Shadow on the Wall would be cool though :)

Islands/When The Night's On Fire - Lara Fabian & Josh Groban

I don't know who is Josh Groban, but sure Lara Fabian associated to Mike's art is an insult to me.

Regarding Leila Josefowicz , I have no clue about her violin play, but YES !!!

:O

JEROME C SAID:

WANDERER SAYS:
What have you heard by her? I must admit I find her stuff in English to be pretty unimaginative Dion-esque balladeering. A better showcase for her talents is her self titled French debut (not to be confused with her rather unremarkable self titled English-language debut). She has enough vocal range to handle the song, and I believe her below-par English language work is still better than that of the self proclaimed divas (Celine, Mariah, Shania et al).

JEROME C SAID:
I don't know who is Josh Groban

WANDERER SAYS:
He is a twenty something American tenor, who sounds a dead ringer for Andrea Bocelli. His self titled debut contains a similar mix of classical standards and adult-contemporary ballads.

JEROME C SAID:

WANDERER SAYS:
Believe me, unlike Vanessa Mae, her looks are equalled by her talent. A good place to start would be "Bohemian Rhapsodies", a recording of gypsy violin music.

That certainly would be an interesting concert. There isn't too many of my favourite songs on there, but it still would be a thing to hear (especially Metallica). It's great you have Slava Grigoryan on guitar: I saw him like recently and he really is a great classical player. I think a really nice thing would be for everyone involved in the recently completed Tubular Bells Finale fan mix to come and do that on stage. I'd love to see that.
