We started doing 'myspace' about a month ago and we really like it. What's really good about it for us is that there are no 'clicks',
or small social circles who deliberately ignore you for whatever reasons. (a common phenomenom on Internet Forums).

We checked out your paged and really enjoyed your music.

Thanks for that link to last.fm. I had a look and entered my artist name (Purple Rhapsody) and some tracks showed up even though I've never uploaded anything. My albums are available on many digital download sites so I guess it must have been automatically distributed to them too.

For instance if I downloaded an MP3 that wasn't already on last.fm and I played it in Winamp, the last.fm plugin would tell the last.fm website that I played it. The track would then appear on the website. However, the full-length tracks are not available - if you try to play one of the tracks, you'll only get a 30 second preview.

If you were to register at last.fm you'd be able to manage your tracks and upload more if you wish. You can make them free to download if you wish. I only recommend the site because it has allowed me to get my music to a larger audience - currently over 1,400 different people have listened to one or more of my tracks thanks to last.fm.
