Some more audio previews of the upcoming Tubular Beats remix album have been made available on YouTube by Planet Love Records.

The samples available are of Let There Be Light, Ommadawn, North Star, Far Above the Clouds and Never Too Far.

this surely raises my expectations. had a feeling, that this was a record you had, because mike oldfields name was on it, but these snippets makes it sound like this might just be a very good record indeed

Never Too Far sounds promising, I like the way they tease you with just a little bit of Oldfield guitar at the end :D

Sounds wide and spacious. Ommadawn feels like flying, and it's a long track (10+ minutes), which is nice. Nice!

WOW - all three sound incredible! Songs of Distant Earth is my all time favorite so super excited for Let There Be Light. Plus Tarja and Mike Oldfield is proving to be a perfect and very potent combination!!

Is it me or Never too Far has a lot in common with Islanders - track published some time ago? :)

To me sounds like Islanders Part II to me!

I've noticed that Mike doesn't mention it on https://www.facebook.com/groups/Mikeoldfieldpersonal/

The music sounds promising, indeed. Concerning the cover, though, it seems like the 8th "tubular bell" cover in Mike's discography (at least to my estimation), which is quite discouraging... I only hope the rock album will have a different one :-)

I've got the impression that it's more of a York project rather than Mike's...
