God those translations are terrible. It's funny that article mentioning the fact that Mike has a letter from Tony Blair saying 'Tubular Bells is my all time favourite album'. I've read quite a few interviews with Tony Blair where he talks of his love of rock music including one in a recent issue of Word magazine and Tony Blair never mentions Mike's name far less TB. I suppose thats Tony Blair for you, or maybe he doesn't think its 'cool' to say you like Mike.

The guys from Hiawatha II had the chance to talk to Mike today for an interview about Light + Shade,and at Oldfield.de there's a few bits of it:

1.One of the bonus tracks is going to be Closer with Bagpipes;

2.The 5.1 version of L+S is ready but Mercury dunno when they're going to release it ;

3.Mike is not working on Ommadawn 5.1 ;

4.There's no tour plans for L+S.

That's great news! :) Even if I hoped another Celtic album to be released on. ;)

That, my dear, most probably means we'll get another useless 2CD collection with one previously unreleased on CD track (something very exciting no doubt, like Tubular Bells (a cappella), most probably) on it :/

Brilliant clip Tati, thank you for sharing it. It stopped as he rode off on the motorbike, is that right or have I hit the wrong button?
It was good to see him playng the acoustic guitar and then looking so relaxed...(sighs)...!!
