It was simply, "ripe for a remake" given it's age. I found it to be robot-like and lifeless by these "artists", made with loop based software is my thinking. Welcome to commercial music. I knew a pretty good producer/keyboard player once. He targeted some old songs like "Summer in the City" as ripe for a remake in like, 1988. I'm sure it's been done by now, by someone else. I guess......welcome to the 21st century!. All you rapp-ers and poppies who "loop" the musical portions of America Ventura Highway, and so many more classic songs (Steely Dan Black Cow).....this finger is for you.......when will pop/rap come to loop MO? James(I only go by James when I'm pissed off)
