On the official site http://www.sylversite.be , you can listen to a sample (second song in the player on the top of the page)

Abysmal.  They can't even get the simple chord progression right.

Randy Bush's version was MUCH MUCH better in this dance area.

Not a patch on mikes version, but not a bad attempt, at least bands appreciate his music and play it

True, ex.  At least it proves somebody somewhere has good musical taste.

It was simply, "ripe for a remake" given it's age. I found it to be robot-like and lifeless by these "artists", made with loop based software is my thinking. Welcome to commercial music. I knew a pretty good producer/keyboard player once. He targeted some old songs like "Summer in the City" as ripe for a remake in like, 1988. I'm sure it's been done by now, by someone else. I guess......welcome to the 21st century!. All you rapp-ers and poppies who "loop" the musical portions of America Ventura Highway, and so many more classic songs (Steely Dan Black Cow).....this finger is for you.......when will pop/rap come to loop MO?

I can't imagine why anyone would want to cover such a mediocre (in my opinion) piece in the first place!

Unfortunately someone already did. But at least he was credited among the writers. And let's not forget Paul Hardcastle and "19". :D

Ah just in time for the summer...Apparently airport security wanted to talk to them on suspicion of smuggling in offensive material.

Brings to mind Koto's version of "Moonlight Shadow" where he also gets a really basic chord progression all wrong. I can stand things played badly, but I can't stand things played wrong.

This is really sick..
They have taken a sub-standard piece of music and turned it into something you need a barf bag after listen to it.
These offenders should have their ass surgical removed  :O

At least I hope MO´s record company is on top of this and claim some money for the use of the copyright material..

It's got that hypnotic club sound which I quite like. I think it's an improvement on Mike's original "Foreign Affair" - which I've never been keen on.
