i have a tape called "the complete mike oldfield" with the swallow drinking water on the front cover, it's ancient and a bit knackered. can you get it on CD?

Yes, but buy the albums instead to get the full content, look around the forum to find most recommended  :)

If you don't want the full content, get elements  :cool:

I'd recommend The Complete Mike Oldfield over Elements. There are a number of things on there which even the Elements 4 CD set doesn't have (and The Complete is more comparable in price to the single disc edition). Those not present on Elements are all the live tracks, Cuckoo Song and To France.

I think The Complete Mike Oldfield is probably about the best choice out of all the compilations. I'd be less confident in recommending the 4 CD Elements, as its price to interesting material ratio isn't terribly high.
