I've been off the radar for a bit, getting distracted by stupid things like work!
I made a new years resolution though, and that was to come up with an album concept and start work on it. So I have.
It's called Magnetic Anomalies and I've just completed part one. I have broken it down into smaller (more digestible) chunks called Moon Watcher, Clavius, Tycho and Discovery, but the full piece is there as well.
It starts with an ambient slow build and then reaches an orchestral crescendo, drops down to an ominous yet mellow moment before the finale.
I've started work on Part Two. The first piece will be entitled "The Heuristic Algorithm".
I'm trying to keep it's inspiration ambiguous as I always feel instrumental music is open to interpretation and everyone hears something different, and I like that, but it may seem obvious to some.
