Hi,

I got a new electric guitar for Christmas (an Ibanez SAS36 FM in Lavender Blue) and while playing about on it I had an idea for a tune... and here it is.

It is very much a work in progress but as well as being quite chuffed with the musical idea, I'm also really pleased with my first proper effort at using a package called Minstry of Rock for the drum track... I'm generally quite rubbish at percussion but I think this is at least a step in the right direction.

Anyway, any comments to be fed into the further development of the track are welcomed, and thanks in advance for listening.

Happy New Year everyone!

Cheers,
Terry.
PS: Apologies for the guitar going out of tune here and there... the new strings are still settling down.

I like the last, quiet part the best. That's a lovely piano and little bit of echo on the guitar. Worth developing into a longer piece.

The first part reminds me of Jean-Michel Jarre's Oxygene Part 10.

Merry Christmas :)
