There are probably some truly dedicated fanatics who would not mind at all being in the room for this.

"I bring him coffee in the morning. I bring him other things too (he likes beer, and he likes cheese). I sometimes open the windows because he likes the smell of a westerly breeze. Sometimes, I pick up his guitar pick for him when he drops it. But you know what I do most of the day? Sit and watch him as he sits and stares at the wall."
"is that IT???"
"Well, on Fridays, he has me check the fan mail. Most of the time, it is requests for lyrics to the chant on 'Hergest Ridge'. These always go in the fire."
