Around the 50 minute mark of Amarok, Mike goes into a climax with his guitar (ha, ha, ha). In the background, what sounds like a horn section can be heard.

How did Mike make that sound if there is no horn section listed and there is "not much synth at all really"?

That line about "not much synth at all" is jokey, just like a lot of the instruments credits ["long thin metallic hanging tubes"... hehehehe! :laugh:]. Amarok features lots of synth parts - the one you quoted being just one of the most evident, but synths are first heard less than a minute after Amarok starts. :)

P.S.: Sorry for hitting again on this (and going off topic), but guess what album is spinnin' into my CD player right now? Ammonia Avenue!! :D
