It's done. And by done, I mean finished. And by finished, I mean complete. And by complete, I mean done.

This is it. After almost three years of work, it's finished. Three years not because it is an extremely complex work, but because it was a slow process. But it's finally done. The album is not officially published yet, so I won't post any links to any webpages yet; just the songs. Some of them have already been posted here in rough, incomplete mixes. These are the final mixes.

These songs are are more complex and fleshed-out than those on Big Robot, Little Robot. Longer and more repetitive, too. I can say I'm very satisfied with the final product; it manages to conjure just what was in my head when I imagined these songs, and now it's free to conjure whatever it wants in your head. Interpret these sounds as you will; you won't see me there.

Congratulations on a job well done Sir M. Sit back, pop the champagne cork, put your feet up and relax, with the contented feeling that comes from achieving your goal. You have earned it. Deb

I thought I'd listen to the whole album before commenting but time has been hard to find so I'll comment on the first 3 tracks...

I liked the way the first track built and the fast discordant section was great.

However, Pablo really challenged my listening abilities and I must say I had to give up due to it's completely random (to my ears) nature after 4 minutes.

Tyrone is nicely built but in my opinion could have done with a bit more variation in arrangement especially when it goes a bit more 'minor' after 4 minutes. *EDIT* I forgot to mention the 'drum solo'... it's excellent!

More general comments... the sound quality is really good and clear, nothing sounds blurry. But, it's unfortunately obvious that you have limited virtual instruments - the plus side is that you do a brilliant job with them but at times I think there's a lack of variation in the volume of them.

Compositionally, you push the envelope - it doesn't always suit my ears - and that can only be a good thing.

Sorry that it's a bag of mixed good and bad points, hopefully I haven't offended.

I'll hopefully have time to listen to the other two tracks in the near future.

Thanks for sharing!

Cheers,
Terry.

No offence taken! Your comments are all very valid, and you make it clear when you're being subjective and when you're trying not to be. I really like that. As for being a mixed bag of opinions, the album is a mixed bag of moods, so that's bound to happen. :)

If you ever get to the next two tracks, be prepared, as they're quite repetititititive -- especially the fourth. If I were more pretentious, I'd call them "minimalist". ;)

Either way, thanks a lot for the attention and care.
