i've tried to enter oldfield.info several times this week and it isn't where it used to be... instead, there's a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Test Page.
what's happening there? has anyone else tried?
i hope this is the right section to ask about it.

I've had to move the site, because I don't have the same resources as I did originally to host it (I don't currently have a dedicated machine connected to the Internet).

I'll hopefully get something back online very soon - sorry for not posting anything on the site to explain, but I've not really had time!

I will probably have to remove certain bits of the site that are rarely used, but rest assured that no data has been lost - the gallery is intact and archived!

Many thanks, Tim, for everything you've done in the past on that site, and for supporting it for so long. You can see from the consternation at the possible loss of the gallery how much it's been valued, and still is.

Some of us in musicvr.com have written to Fanny to see if she can help. Obviously we don't yet know whether we'll get a response, favourable or otherwise.

A quick update...

I've just put the Gallery section of the site back online. I've tested it and it seems to be working alright on the other server. If you have any problems, just let me know :)

I'm not really sure where the site is going at the moment, since the forum isn't really used and the other bits and pieces were mostly abandoned when musicvr.com opened. I may put other bits back online as and when I get chance, but I may not.

It would be nice to give the site some direction and value, so if anyone has any suggestions, please get in touch!

Wow! Many thanks Tim. So far it seems to work fine apart from one small aspect which I've sent you an email about.

As for the rest, we'll put our thinking caps on.

hi tim,
thank u very much for making the gallery available again.
it became an essential feature to share and compare and learn about the games. i think that it was thanks to it and the forums at musicvr.com as well that we could go on finding out new places behind the barriers in tr3s lunas.

ideas... well, i've sometimes thought  that it could be good maybe to classify the pictures somehow. i don't really know what that would mean technically, i don't know if it's possible. what i have on mind is something like folders for the different areas maybe.. well, if u feel like trying and think that's not a crazy idea we could talk about.
the truth is that now, seeing there's some spare room around the gallery, i can't help fiddling with that idea again :)

we are very grateful for your interest and efforts being so busy as we know u are.. very much appreciated indeed.
