I've just found this on the internet and thought it was too good to keep to myself!

http://www.tubularbellsfortwo.com/news/#

and

http://drownedinsound.com/in_depth/4144166 (scroll down for video sample)

Is this old news? If it is, and if I've missed it in the forums please accept my apologies.

There is also a link to tubular.net on their website. Are they Tubularians? ;)

I saw them in Sydney and it was an unforgettable night  :)

Never seen the video though.

Many thanks for that.

That video clip blew me away. What an amazing performance!

Do you know if they intend to take it on tour worldwide? I'm sure they'd do well in the UK. :)

I actually asked Daniel that very question.  :)

He hadn't given it any thought but that was almost 2 years ago, I believe England (and Europe) would really dig these guys.

It really has to be seen....Just wonderful.  :)

stpaul

Thanks for posting the Vid. Loved the bells anecdote.

Milamber

They've got to take it on tour to Europe and the UK now! They've just got to! I'd definitely go and see them.

I would be really interested to hear Mike's take on it too. Presumably he is aware of what they're doing? :)

Hoping to walk on Bradnor and Hergest over the weekend by the way. I haven't been for a long time and really feel the need to go there!    :)

G'day guys,

We're defintely looking in to take the show to UK/Europe, and also South America. At this stage i cant reveal any details, but if anyone thinks they can be of any assistance getting the show to a place near you, please do let us know!

For Sydneysiders, if you're coming to a Sydney Festival show please stick around and meet us for a drink after the show at the bar.

Cheers!

Hi Aidan and Daniel

Thanks for responding. That looks like a great show you‘ve got there, from what I’ve seen on the video clips. Unfortunately I’m not in the music business, but maybe there’s someone on Tubular.net up here who is, and can help you out? I ‘ll certainly look forward to seeing you in the UK soon.

By the way - can I ask if is the man himself (Mike) is aware of your show?  :)
