Ladies and Gentlemen,

It is my great pleasure to inform you that Mike Oldfield has now his own devoted online webradio!!
Album tracks, collaborations, live tracks, non-lp tracks, (more to come...), listen to this great musician from any computer connected to the internet !!

Available on this webpage: http://www.radionomy.com/EN/Cust/Listen.aspx#/orabidoo.aspx

and in the iTunes radios (Section 'Classic Rock';), ''Orabidoo'' can be listened to 24/24, 7 hours a day.

You can also play this file on any multimedia player (iTunes, Vlc, Wmv, Quicktime,...).
http://listen.radionomy.com/orabidoo.m3u
For the webmasters: there is also a small flash player for this Oldfield radio, please ask for the code to insert in your blog or webpage! :)

Please report any comment to Orabidoo's webmaster:  sh_is_king@yahoo.fr.

Enjoy your stay on Orabidoo online! :))

Atane.

PS: Please be aware that this webradio is (of course) fully legal.
For more in formations on the status of Orabidoo, please visite http://www.radionomy.com

Welcome to the forum, Derek. We have an initiation ceremony for new members. They have to search through earlier posts, and find a new and amusing way of teasing Caveman! Hint: check the posts of Milamber!

Welcome, Derek. You're in for a lotta laughs, and a little (okay, a lot) of good natured teasing on here. :)

Hello everyone.

I've just done a major update (some would say 'Upgrade' ) on Orabidoo, the 1st Mike Oldfield webradio.

First, I've added a lot more tracks (such as collaborations, cover versions, original version of tracks Mike covered
and a lot more live tracks).

But also, be aware that now, you can listen to Orabidoo on your iPhone for free (depending on your iPhone 3G provider, of course...)
To do so, just simply install the free 'Orange Live Radio' application.
Then in the application itself, just search for the words 'Orabidoo' or 'Oldfield', and then launch the radio.

You can of course also listen to Orabidoo in the iTunes Radio stations (Classic Rock section)
or on Orabidoo webpage:
http://www.radionomy.com/EN/Cust/Listen.aspx#/orabidoo.aspx

Don't hesitate to contact me, should you enconter any kind of trouble with the radio player.

Kind regards from Paris.

I recently discovered the Orabidoo internet radio station and was really enjoying it.

Today it seems to have disappeared.   It's no longer listed on radionomy.com and the itunes feed is playing random rock music.

Does anyone know what's happened?  Is it gone for good?  Has it moved somewhere else?

Thanks for any info.

Paul

Perhaps a pirate radio station is responsible...

Just had an email reply from 'Orabidoo's webmaster' saying it's gone for good.  Didn't say why.

Sad news, it was an excellent station; full of rare recordings, live concerts and very early stuff Mike did with The Sallyangie, Robert Wyatt, Kevin Ayers etc.
