Ha All ..  I was wondering if there is any where i can buy an Ornamentlal TubularBell?  I recon it would be great to have the bell sitting on the mantel place . If any one can let me know it would be great.

I have no idea...can't find it on the net. I have also
thought about it too. Why make a Tubular bell on your own?
Just get a metaltube and a hammer...and polish cream. :)

They're definitely not commercially available. I guess your safest bet is to ask someone who knows his way with processing metal. I seem to remember someone once said he had one made by someone he knew, but I can't remember who that person was.

I did see one for sale on eBay once, which was supposedly a Tubular Bells II promo item. It wasn't terribly good - just a metal rod (not a tube), bent into the bell shape and sprayed yellow.

I'm not certain how Trevor Key bent the tube for the original. People who work with pipes often will have a device for bending them without them squashing at the bend - you might want to try and find someone who has that kind of equipment, and ask for help.

The bell for Tubular Bells III was made not from a pipe but from a sheet (of silver), which was then hammered into shape.

I'd imagine that having such an object made would be fairly costly, unless you have a friend who'd be willing to do it for nothing.

Thanks every one . i to have searched the net and found nothing , i do know some metal workers that might be able top help me,,.
Sound like it would be , with Mikes permission of course , a lucrative business for someone to get into...
