This track might sound unprofessional, as I experimented the possibilities of new tools this time. That strange 9 sounds came first, and these are similar to Vangelis' Soil Festivities again, but I can't live without climaxes, so it goes to a different way (a bit like Ethnicolor). I might have gone too far with the climax at the end, you can hardly hear the melody there... :)

Hi,

I found this to be quite good, actually. I like your synth sounds, and the whole thing is vaguely reminiscent of some early Depeche Mode.

Keep it up!

Yup, agreed -- the synth is rather great, it made me think of Alphaville for some reason :) and also, as mentioned, early Depeche Mode (but not Speak & Spell early). Somehow this tune makes me wish for huge drums and vocals to go with it -- I don't mean turning it onto a song, I just think it sounds either like an intro or an outro to a synth-lead album.

What equipment did you use?

Thank you! :)

I used Renoise tracker and almost all the sounds came from Native Instruments' Pro-53 virtual synth.

I don't really know Depeche Mode, I only heard some of their music years ago, and they didn't seem to be for my taste.

Yes, I tried the drums but I haven't managed to make them sound really good (yet).
I also feel that it could be an opening track on an album.
