Decided to remix a theme from an old computer game "Conquests of Camelot". It has a wonderful soundtrack by Mark Seibert. I decided to metalize one of the tracks as mixing practice. Just thought I'd share it. I'll also include the original for you to compare with.

Great effort! :) I think the bass range could be louder and the high frequencies a bit softer as it's uncomfortable for me to listen to it in full volume because of the loud cymbals.

Ya...actually when I mixed this I had headphones on...oops. I'll try fixing that later. Thanks, though!

Winamp.

Seriously, consider it. OGGs are so much better than MP3s.

Get switch converter, I use it to convert WAV to mp3, and also to convert large mp3 files into lower bit-rates :)

Saved myself 10% of computer space! Plus I need it because my mp3 players capacity is a mere 128mb

Well, Ugo, there's the clean one, the bass sim one, the powerchord dist one (there really should be 2, one panned left and one right) and 3 lead ones. I tried giving each instrument as much space as I could. I'm still a little noobish at doing that.
