It may be the case that Mike, being the generous and shy soul he probably is, ghost writes a lot of material for lesser artists. Only today, on the way back from my surfing beach, I was listening to Honk's soundtrack to the surf movie Five Summer Stories. "Pipeline Sequence" has a strong resemblance to the final parts of "Taurus 2". Five Summer Stories predates Five Miles Out (but both have the number 5!!    ) but it seems quite likely to me that Mike, who has been on the music scene since the sixties, simply took an uncredited role in writing the music.
