The Official Mike Oldfield Information Service has posted a video and a press release promoting The Platinum Collection. EMI has published a web page advertising it.

The future looks bright for Mike. His record company actually tries to sell his music (for the first time in two decades!;) and Mojo magazines gives a good review (haven't seen a good MO review since Q magazine unexpectedly praised TBIII).

FMO, Crises and Discovery is great folk-pop/rock that has stood the test of time. So a revival is about time!!!

No ads on radio or TV here, but there were HUGE billboards in the shops. It was the first time I ever saw anything like this for a M.O. release. :)
