Hy!
Please help!
In the Tubular III album  'Cara' sings Man In The Rain but she's not the same as the other woman who sings the same song in the Tubular III concert dvd. But that woman is the same with that woman who sings Sunlight, Shadow on the Wall, etc. on the Art In Heaven concert. In the credit she is marked as Pepsi Demacque, the woman who sings in Millennium Bell album! So who's that woman in T III dvd, and if she is P. why she sings out there and why not Cara????

eek sorry

I think I remember hearing that Cara Dillon just wasn't available at the time, so Mike contacted Pepsi, at the suggestion of guitarist Hugh Burns (who has played with George Michael, who in turn used to have Pepsi as a backing singer). So, the woman singing Man In The Rain in the Tubular Bells III video is indeed Pepsi Demacque, who as you note also sang with Mike in the Berlin concert (and on the Then and Now tour) and on the album The Millennium Bell.

Thanks very much! :)

Now I dicovered the 'Secret' and the only thing wich disappointed me is that in the Art In Heaven concert the woman who sings Moonlight Shadow is Miriam Stockley and NOT Maggie Reilley :( I mean Miriam is great but I tought she is Maggie.

thanks again and bye

ps.: Do you know anything about 'Polar Star' or Peppsi's other bands?

I can't say I know anything about Polar Star, but I saw Cara Dillon perform solo a few years ago and enjoyed the music. She has a CD out, though she didn't have any for sale at the time (someone had stolen them - I guess it must be a good album! ). She has a website - http://www.caradillon.co.uk/

Pepsi used to be in a duo, Pepsi and Shirley, who released some stuff of their own, as well as being backing singers for Wham! (which I believe is how they started out) - there seems to be a fair bit of information on the net about them, if you're interested.

Thanks again! I've checked both of them, but I cannot view caradillon.co.uk I don't know why. I read some articles and I'm really curious about Cara's music. Do you know any mp3s or something like that?

Pepsi: I found sites about her and the duo too, unfortunately I couldn't download her tracks /eeek all are in ram formats!!! no mp3! :( /.... and I read that she's 45! That's scary!!! I thought she's much younger...!

There are 3 mp3 files to download on http://www.caradillon.co.uk/audio.html
There are Black Is The Colur, Blue Mountain River and There Were Roses. I downloaded them some time ago. Cara has a lovely voice but there's no Mike's influence (of course, she sang only one song for him so there couldn't be influence).
As far as I know Pepsi was born on 10th December 1960. It means she'll turn 43 but I'm not sure.
I've read Mike didn't get along with Maggie Reilly very well. It would be a miracle if she sang in Art In Heaven.
